The Hard Part Is Done
Ah, it's been a while! I just want to report that the editing has gone well! It's almost done, actually. I ironed out a ton of small details on my list, after doing the major edits.
All that's left now is to write up my final chapter and comb through that for edits. This will be a new addition to the story, so only those of you who read the book get to see it! Nothing major really, but it's from Anniken's POV. I decided this would be an excellent way to introduce additional POVs for her, as I do that more often in the current season.
Here's what my to do list looks like so far:
- Formatting
- Finalize my blurb
- Covers (ideally hardcover along with paperback)
- Schedule a brief preorder at a low price
Simple in theory, but we all know how misleading that can be! The only thing holding me back right now is money. I'd like to throw up a preorder right now, but I don't want to get ahead of myself before I have the final cover. So no placeholders.
Right now, I'm hoping to have everything ready by July, ideally sooner. Again, it all comes down to money, and I have other expenses to worry about.
